Sam on Kimi, distillation, and open source: be the greatest and the cheapest

OpenAI's Sam Altman stated in an interview that he always assumed there would be great cheap models, and OpenAI needs to be the greatest and cheapest. He noted they distill their own models for smaller/cheaper versions, and open source has an important place. He'd rather not have others distill from them, but it's not in his top ten worries.
