OpenAI's Codex realtime voice mode spotted: ChatGPT to gain voice-controlled agent tasks

Leaks reveal OpenAI is developing a realtime voice mode for Codex Agent, enabling users to perform complex tasks like checking Slack, Spotify, documents, calendar, browsing, shopping, or ordering food via voice in ChatGPT. This will finally bring Connectors to voice mode. Anthropic is also upgrading its voice mode with Opus and Sonnet models for tool use.
